anisomastia
  • 1

Almost all people show differences between the two sides of the body. Anisomastia is the obvious asymmetry of the two breasts in terms of size, shape, anatomical position and / or nipple.
Correcting it can have a huge positive impact on both psychology and self-confidence.
One type of asymmetry is that of the tubular breasts, where one or both breasts have a tubular shape. Another case of asymmetry is Polland syndrome, a congenital condition in which, hypoplasia of one side of the chest and the corresponding upper limb, occurs.

Incisions
The surgical technique and the incisions are decided individually, depending on the type of anisomastia.
Dr Otto does not use external sutures and postoperative scars particularly indistinguishable in the long run.

What else you need to know:

  • The patient leaves the operating room without drains (tubes), without gauzes, just wearing a special bra that she will be using for a month.
  • After a few hours she leaves for home.
  • After the first 24 hours she can take a shower. The return to daily activities can be done from next day, however Dr Otto recommends abstaining from work for 5-7 days.
  • Exercise can be started gradually after the first week and according to Dr Otto's instructions.
