Hair PRP

The treatment of the scalp with autologous plasma (Platelet Rich Plasma-PRP) is supported by a multitude of scientific studies which prove that it can dramatically increase hair growth and quality.
Dr Otto has carefully chosen specialized medical equipment and protocols necessary to achieve the highest concentration of platelets that provides the best results.
Uses at least 5 times the average platelet count, to achieve maximum results as recommended by experts.

Blood is collected and through a special centrifugation process, plasma is separated from the red blood cells and then injected into the scalp.
The main constituent of plasma are the platelets, which produce the growth factors.
Growth factors found in PRP help increase the supply of regenerating substances to the hair thinning areas.

Hair treatment with PRP is believed to stimulate and strengthen existing hair follicles (but without creating new hair follicles), or to restore follicles that have already become inactive.
Thinning hair is believed to benefit from PRP treatments, but this does not mean that it is the solution to extensive or total hair loss.

The results are visible in 3-6 weeks and continue to gradually improve over the next three to six months.
Generally, three to four initial treatments are recommended, however, more may be indicated in some cases.
Current data show that the results last 18-24 months. Maintenance treatments may be required to maintain them.
